A new mission for Recovery.Arkansas.Gov

The Recovery Act isn’t like other economic-stimulus programs. Instead, the Recovery Act is an attempt to both encourage economic recovery in the short term while also spurring positive, long-term growth far into the future. Overtime, programs funded by the Recovery Act will evolve, from start-ups that must find appropriate investments for Recovery Act funds to established programs that must meet high standards for accountability and transparency. That means the mission of this web site must change.  While Recovery.Arkansas.Gov once placed an emphasis on helping Arkansans apply for and receive aid from the Recovery Act, the web site will now focus on reporting on programs funded by the Recovery Act. Now, more information has been added to the site and is being made available to visitors through new, user-friendly devices such as our Recovery Act dashboard. The primary mission of the web site is to publish information on how and where Recovery Act programs that are overseen by state government are being managed for Arkansas.
