I was notified last week by the Arkansas Department of Education that Arkansas schools will receive approximately $90 million in additional federal stimulus funds. The Greene County Tech School District will receive $645,328. These funds may be used for obligations incurred since Aug. 10, and must be spent by Sept. 30, 2012. The Education Jobs Fund Program (EJFP) is intended to help stimulate the economy while providing additional support to the public schools.
