Mid-South Community College received a $3.4 million American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to establish an integrated, FAA-certified training program for airframe and powerplant technicians. The college will present an Aviation Maintenance Technology "Get Ready 2011" workshop/open house on Thursday, Dec. 2, 6-7:30 p.m.
