Hines Trucking Recovery Site Visit

Arkansas has received funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 and Governor Mike Beebe to reduce emissions from diesel engines in the state. This Recovery Program is benefiting the state by reducing emissions of 35 class eight trucks. The project will allow drivers for Hines Trucking to reduce their idle time by 25% to 50% while waiting to load or unload. This project's overall purpose is to reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality.
